Well, what can you say? This one looks like Dr. Seuss made it up--but it really is real. They feed in shallow waters swinging their bills from side to side feeling for small fishes and other food items. When the nerve endings along the inner lining of the bill come in contact with a living animal, they snap their bill shut trapping their prey.
